In the 1870 census of Texas Twp, DeWitt Co., IL, "Cora Smallwood", 13, was living with the John D. Grady family (pg10)

in the 1880 census of Friends Creek, Macon Co., IL, Corwin, 24, is living with wife Letta, 19, and son Clarence, 4/12.  Also living with them is James McClathian(?), 21, a hired hand.

In the 1900 census of Texas Twp, DeWitt Co., IL, Corwin, born Feb 1856, is living with wife Lettie S., born Oct 1864, Cornilius Randall, born June 1863, a farmhand (Lettie's brother), and Amos Bennett, born Dec 1879, another farmhand.  Also living with them are their children, Clarence S., born Dec 1879, and Ina J., born July 1882.  Also living with them are Lettie's nieces, Griffin M. Randall, born Sep 1894, and Mrs. Leila Craton, born Feb 1878.  Leila was married and had one child.  Corwin and Lettie had been married 21 years.  Lettie was the mother of 10 children, 8 still living (where'd they all go???) (pg312)

In the 1910 census of Texas Twp, DeWitt Co., IL, Corwin, 54, is living with wife Lettie, 47, Lettie's father Andrew C. Kandall, 87, and Cornelius E. Randall, 47.  Andrew was born in OH.  His parents were born in SC and PA.  Corwin and Lettie had been married 31 years.  Lettie was the mother of 2 children. (pg359)
